Location: Baudette, Minnesota
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and ER patients
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients efficiently
- Titrate medications and manage drips (insulin, amiodarone, levophed)
- Participate in codes: cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
- Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transport
- Float between MedSurg and Emergency Department as needed
- Read and document own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum 1 year of ER and MedSurg experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal staff
- Comfortable communicating directly with hospitalists and handling critical patients
Knowledge & Skills
- IV insertion and PICC/Port management
- EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
- Meditech EMR proficiency
- Code management and trauma response
- Patient care across swing bed to critical levels
