Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment with all necessary supplies and setup devices
• Accurately deliver prescribed and planned radiation treatments, verifying treatment doses and patient positioning
• Perform imaging and treatment delivery while monitoring patients closely
• Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate support
• Maintain detailed records in ARIA and Epic, including documentation of patient treatments
• Obtain appropriate port films on patients when prescribed

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Radiation Therapist license required at time of submission
• Radiologic Technologist Certification and ARRT certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience with ARIA and Varian TrueBeam systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced oncology setting
• Dosimetry badge required prior to starting assignment (traveler responsible or spare available)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in radiation therapy delivery and patient positioning
• Strong knowledge of treatment planning and verification processes
• Experience with Epic and ARIA electronic medical records
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
