Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional telemetry and cardiac care to adult and geriatric patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips, titrating drips like Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and Lasix
Manage PCU-level overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio when needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU, MS, or ER holds as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proven PCU experience and ability to read telemetry strips
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and telemetry skills
Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking
Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Team collaboration and communication
