Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Manage complex cases including premature infants, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, and surgical patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, midlevels, RT, and pharmacy
Perform and maintain central line dressings and Foley catheter insertions with strict sterile technique
Monitor telemetry and ventilator settings, adjusting care plans as needed
Support families with education and emotional care during their NICU journey

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state
Previous travel experience preferred
Must pass SIMs Lab on Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in NICU care and neonatal resuscitation
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Experience with Phillips Telemetry
Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance
Ability to float to Mother Baby and Labor Care (babies only)
