Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day or night shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for cardiac and vascular patients, including post-surgical monitoring
Titrate and manage critical drips such as amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, and epinephrine
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart programs
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced 18-bed CVU unit

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska (or compact state)
At least 1 year of recent experience with a similar patient population
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Valid driver's license required at submission
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit affiliates

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating multiple IV drips and managing blood pressure medications
Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Excellent critical thinking and assessment abilities
Effective communication and teamwork in a high-acuity setting
