Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM rotating shifts; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular patients
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips including amiodarone, nitro, and epinephrine
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient management
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with CVU patient population
Valid driver's license (required for submittal)
Ability to pass open-book exam on skills learned during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and telemetry interpretation
Titration of cardiac drips
Patient assessment and monitoring
Knowledge of BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula
Strong communication and teamwork skills
