Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and their newborns, monitoring fetal well-being using OB Trace Vue
Manage antepartum and postpartum patients, including titration of medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin
Support neonatal patients with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen as needed
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float to emergency department for 1:1 patient sitting as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
Willingness to adhere to facial hair policy for fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in fetal monitoring (OB Trace Vue)
IV therapy and titration of drips
Neonatal support including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Independence and adaptability in a rural environment
