Registered Nurse - LDRP (Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Mother-Baby)

Location: Fort Morgan, CO

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, with rotating weekends (every other)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients in a rural LDRP setting
Triage and assess obstetric patients in a fast-paced environment
Serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse for newborns
Manage Pitocin infusions and monitor fetal heart tracings (AWHONN)
Collaborate with on-call OB and anesthesia teams for emergencies
Provide postpartum care and support for new mothers and families

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
Trained in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
Active Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license
Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Must be able to triage and function as the baby catcher/transition nurse
Comfortable with titrating Pitocin and monitoring fetal heart rate
