Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to restore patient mobility and function
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to their recovery goals
Monitor patient progress and document outcomes to ensure optimal care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic rehabilitation

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maryland (or compact eligible)
Graduate from an accredited PTA program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Ability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities
Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and safety protocols
Skilled in patient assessment and documentation
Empathy and patience to support diverse patient populations
Team-oriented with ability to work independently when needed
