Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to telemetry patients across multiple units including CV Tele, Neuro, and MedSurg
Titrate cardiac drips (Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine) with precision and confidence
Interpret EKGs and respond to central telemetry monitoring
Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses as needed, ensuring smooth patient handoffs
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses, PCTs, and clinical supervisors
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred for Neuro unit shifts
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience with cardiac drip titration
Comfortable floating between units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in cardiac drip titration and EKG interpretation
Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and central station systems
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility and adaptability to changing assignments
Proficient in using Spectralink phones for call light management
