Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days/nights rotating, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma step-down patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor critical drips such as heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float across med/surg and PCU units to broaden your experience
Ensure hourly rounding and maintain high patient satisfaction

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU/Oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications
Chemotherapy certification required
Willingness to float between units as needed
Valid driver's license

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Competency in chemotherapy administration
Ability to titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Experience with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (training provided)
