Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry for cardiac and neuro patients
Provide post-surgical care for craniotomies, spines, and CVA patients
Administer medications and manage neuro assessments
Collaborate with charge nurse and clinical supervisor to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedures as needed
Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro Tele or similar unit
Active and unrestricted RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer
COVID vaccine required or approved declination
Ability to interpret EKGs and monitor central telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of neuro conditions and post-surgical care
Proficiency in sterile technique and aseptic practices
Expertise in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
