Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and manage respiratory care for patients in acute and critical care settings
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed
- Monitor and adjust ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Utah
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Experience in acute care or hospital setting is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in ventilator management and airway care
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of respiratory medications and treatments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
