Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse adult-geriatric population with diagnoses ranging from cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, to general medicine
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) to fill critical staffing gaps
Titrate heparin drips and manage MS-Tele patients with acuity ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Adapt quickly to different unit environments including PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
Prior neuro experience preferred but not mandatory
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
Proficient in managing heparin drips
Strong adaptability and flexibility for floating assignments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
