Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend, holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms
Titrate IV drips including Heparin, Nitro, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed with appropriate acuity

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Proficiency in arterial line management
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Ability to titrate drips and manage cardiac patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Experience with high-flow oxygen therapy
Competence with vein finders, bladder scanners, and overhead lifts
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to different cultural patient populations
