Sonographer - General Ultrasound

Location: Lincoln, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; plus weekend call every other weekend (Fri 7:00 PM - Sun 7:00 AM) and rotating weeknight call (2 nights per week, 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and NICU imaging
Assist with breast biopsies and interventional procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain high-quality imaging standards and patient care
Transport patients to and from imaging modalities as needed

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and ability to work outside 50 miles from facility
ARDMS certification in Abdomen and/or OB/GYN
BLS certification required
Experience with breast imaging, breast procedures, and NICU scans required
Strong communication and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Siemens Sequoia ultrasound systems
Experienced with EPIC and McKesson PACS
Skilled in doppler imaging, breast procedures, and neonatal imaging
Ability to transport patients professionally
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
