Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care in a combined Medsurg and Emergency Department setting
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with efficiency and empathy
Titrate medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC/Port lines
Participate in codes: cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transfer
Read and document EKGs independently using Mindray monitors
Float between Medsurg and ER as needed
Communicate directly with hospitalists and work collaboratively with minimal staff

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Experience in Emergency Department is a must
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

IV start and PICC/Port management
Medication titration and code management
EKG interpretation
Experience with Meditech EMR
Understanding of EMTALA regulations
