Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including post-surgical and CVA cases
Monitor and interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias in a centralized telemetry setting
Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedures
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform thorough assessments and document patient progress

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in neuro telemetry (within the past 6 months)
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
Pass a sterile technique exam on orientation day 1
COVID vaccine or approved declination required

Knowledge & Skills

Expert EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Sterile technique and infection control
Telemetry monitoring and central station management
Patient education and family support
