Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times (7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM); primarily 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM; on-call 1 night every 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs and manage pain, ensuring safe transitions from Phase 1 to Phase 2
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-notch care in ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, and more
Respond to emergencies with confidence, using your ACLS and PALS training
Float to other units as needed, showcasing your versatility

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required
EPIC proficiency preferred
Ability to work variable shifts and take on-call duties

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Epic EMR
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
