Roles & Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as ordered
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway equipment
Assess patients' respiratory status and adjust care plans accordingly
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Utah
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators and nebulizers
Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
Basic computer and documentation skills
