Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and balance disorders in an outpatient setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain function and independence
Collaborate with physical therapist assistants and the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient progress and care plans using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Manage a caseload of 9-11 patients per day, providing high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license required
Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
Experience with outpatient orthopedic and neurological populations preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and patient education skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Master's degree)
Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of orthopedic conditions and total joint replacements
Expertise in vestibular rehabilitation and balance assessment
Proficiency with neurologic rehabilitation techniques
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Excellent problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
