Location: Rockford, IL

Start Date: 06-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 9:30 PM, including weekends, on-call, and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques
Administer x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure and document for radiologist
Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear instructions to minimize anxiety
Select and operate imaging equipment to successfully perform procedures
Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, ensuring comfort and safety

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiography program
2 years of CT experience required
ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography registrations required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
Current BLS/CPR certification required

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

Computed Tomography (CT) imaging
Patient positioning and aseptic technique
Intravenous access and contrast administration
Patient education and equipment operation
Radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable exams (if assigned)
