Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend, minimum 2 holidays per contract

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and post-procedure cases
Monitor and titrate critical drips such as Heparin, Nitro, and Cardizem
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to patient needs with compassion
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
Focus on patient experience, responsiveness, and clear communication about medications

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with arterial lines and telemetry interpretation
Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in cardiac care and critical drips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Cultural sensitivity for diverse populations (Hispanic and Somalian)
