Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality X-ray imaging studies including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Utilize GE and Toshiba equipment to capture diagnostic images
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
Collaborate with radiologists and lead technician to optimize workflow
Participate in rotating on-call schedule with 30-minute response time

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience
Active ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification required
Ability to float to Mercy Southwest location (approx. 6.5 miles away)

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in performing a variety of X-ray exams independently
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume (approx. 100 scans/day)
