Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures using state-of-the-art Siemens Biograph Vision and E.CAM equipment
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintain strict radiation safety protocols and accurately document all procedures and patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to optimize imaging quality and assist in interpretation
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including the artificial nail prohibition policy for patient care areas

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT (N))
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PET experience required – at least 1-2 years of recent PET/CT experience preferred
• DOT Certification preferred at start, required within 90 days of extension
• Valid driver's license – used for radius verification (must live 50+ miles from facility)
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in PET/CT imaging techniques and Siemens Biograph Vision and E.CAM operation
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable with facility policies including artificial nail restrictions
