Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical overflow patients with diverse diagnoses such as CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, and post-op general surgery
Titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips safely and effectively
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, collaborating with telemetry techs
Work alongside charge nurses and CNAs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed, supporting your team across the hospital

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care required
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Active Washington State RN license or Compact multistate license
Experience with telemetry and titrating drips (Heparin, Cardizem)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Med-Surg and Telemetry nursing
Skilled in titration of Heparin and Cardizem drips
Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
