Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology, PCU, and med/surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Titrate cardiac drips such as heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, and social work
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Float to other PCU and med/surg units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification required
Minimum 1 year of oncology and PCU experience
First-time travelers welcome
Must pass open-book exam during orientation (90% required)
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and administration
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Ability to titrate drips (insulin, cardizem, heparin)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to diverse patient populations
