Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs
Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications as required
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced PCU environment
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain positive communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Driver's license required for verification of distance from facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and titration of cardiac drips
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
