Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM; weekend shifts on a rotating basis

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to patients across medsurg, telemetry, ICU, and cardiology units
Treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, oncology, and cardiac surgery patients
Work with ventilated patients and assist with early mobility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation – we need an experienced PT who can jump right in

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapy license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with orthopedics, total joints, and ICU patients including vented patients
Comfortable working across multiple units and patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Strong clinical reasoning in acute care settings
Ability to manage a high-acuity caseload including cardiac and oncology patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
