Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients from neonatal to geriatric populations
Manage ventilators including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and MR1
Administer high-flow oxygen therapy via Airvo and CPAP/BiPAP
Work in Level II trauma center covering NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
Make independent clinical judgments and respond to emergencies promptly

Qualifications

Must hold current RRT or CRT credential
Active North Dakota state license or compact eligibility
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
No clinical involvement in management, just patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in ventilator management and respiratory equipment
Comfortable in high-acuity settings including NICU and ICU
