Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every other weekend, holidays, and on-call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations on patients of all ages
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision and care
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to obtain optimal images
Maintain accurate patient records and images in Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
Float to Mercy Southwest location as needed to support department coverage

Qualifications

ARRT certification required (Radiography)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Ability to work rotating call, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to float between facilities (approx. 6.5 miles apart)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in operating GE and Toshiba X-ray equipment
Knowledge of Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of scans (avg. 100/day)
IV start skills not required for this role
