Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; specific schedule provided during interview

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic X-rays in a fast-paced trauma setting
Operate Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT equipment with precision
Work collaboratively in the OR, ER, and both inpatient and outpatient areas
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner EMR system
Adapt quickly to varying patient volumes and acuity levels

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent CT experience required; first-time travelers welcome
ARRT certification and current BLS required
Valid California Fluoroscopy permit required
Level II Trauma experience strongly preferred but not required
Must be a self-starter ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Cerner and Philips CT experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
Proficient with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT systems
Strong understanding of anatomy and pathology for optimal image quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a Level II Trauma setting
Ability to work independently, especially during night shifts with fewer resources
