Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU/Med Surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects
Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem and Heparin
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Perform hourly rounding to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Float to Med Surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

At least 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
Chemotherapy certification required
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Driver's license required for verification of residency

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and safe handling
Ability to manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (training available)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
