Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator settings and perform setup for PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
• Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and interpret results
• Administer nebulizer treatments and medication delivery
• Provide conscious sedation and stand by during cardioversion
• Assist with intubation procedures alongside physicians
• Care for neonates in Level 2 nursery, including Bubble CPAP management
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (WA RT) required
• Must hold RRT or CRT credential
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient respiratory therapy experience
• Proven NICU experience with Level 2 nursery (32 weeks and up) and Bubble CPAP competency
• Strong ventilator management skills with current equipment

• BiPAP setup and monitoring
