Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, 36 hours per week, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and other complex diagnoses
Titrate critical drips such as Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin with precision
Interpret EKG rhythms and respond to central monitoring alerts
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-turnover unit
Deliver bedside report and ensure seamless patient handoffs
Float to tele units and ICU overflow as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
Level 1 Trauma experience is mandatory
Neuro experience highly preferred
Proficiency with Cerner EMR and WOWs
Must pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab (Foley catheter and central line dressing change)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in titrating Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin drips
EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Competent in sterile technique and central line dressing changes
Ability to manage a 1:4 patient ratio in a high-acuity setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
