Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (days) and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results
Conduct EKGs and all respiratory therapy duties for patients aged 0-100
Manage ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1) and non-invasive ventilation (V60 BiPAP)
Cover ER, inpatient, and outpatient respiratory needs independently
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7
Participate in orientation and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Valid North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at submission
CRT or RRT (RRT preferred) certification required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS and NRP certifications preferred
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work independently as the only RT in-house on some shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR
Skilled with PB980 and Hamilton C1 ventilators
Competent in V60 BiPAP and high flow therapy
Capable of performing ABGs, EKGs, and all respiratory procedures
Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
