Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry/cardiac unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Manage PCU-level overflow patients with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
Assist with procedures like cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacemaker management
Float to other areas as needed, including MS and PCU units

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of PCU and telemetry experience
Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac strips
First-time travelers welcome - we provide great orientation support

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
Ability to titrate cardiac drips and manage complex patients
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
