Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Monday, Tuesday, Friday-Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions
Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in California
At least 1 year of recent LVN experience in a medical/surgical or similar setting
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to work weekends as part of the schedule
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
