Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM plus 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and clinical excellence in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Provide pre-procedure and recovery care, bedside support, and moderate sedation
Enhance nursing competency and build a positive, collaborative unit culture
Lead a team of RNs and techs, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes
Manage cardiac, vascular, EP, IR, and ICU patient populations with acuity-based staffing

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year in clinical leadership
1 year management experience required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT competency (or willingness to obtain)
Fluoro license for technical staff preferred but not required if candidate meets majority of requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in critical care, telemetry, and catheterization lab procedures
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Proficient in titrating vasoactive drugs, sedation, and managing drips
Skilled in reading telemetry strips and monitoring intraprocedurally
Experience with quality improvement and fostering a culture of safety
