Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT scans using state-of-the-art Siemens equipment
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed, including proper use of badges and patient shielding
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize image quality and patient care
• Operate and perform quality control on PET/CT and gamma camera systems

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMT) required
• PET experience required (but we can train the right candidate on our specific equipment)
• DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days for extension
• Valid driver's license required (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
• Must not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiopharmaceuticals
• Experience with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs (or willingness to learn)
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail in documentation and quality assurance
