Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric population
• Float across multiple hospitals in the Denver Zone 3 area, adapting quickly to different unit specialties
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate heparin drips as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and safety standards
• Support patients with conditions ranging from cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, to general surgery and more

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius zone
• Prior neuro experience and heparin titration skills preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Proficiency in caring for patients with cardiac, neuro, and surgical conditions
• Ability to titrate heparin and manage common titratable drips
• Excellent adaptability and communication skills for floating across diverse units
• Comfortable using electronic health records and point-of-care technology
