Location: Sacramento, CA

End Date: 12-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (option: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately for patient safety
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to optimize therapy
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Assist in pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency

Qualifications

Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT preferred)
Active California Pharmacy Technician license
At least 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
Strong communication and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
Proficiency with pharmacy management systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Team player with a positive attitude
Commitment to patient-centered care
