Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans for diagnostic imaging procedures
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as ordered
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process
Maintain accurate patient records and image data in PACS
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality and protocol adherence
Operate and maintain PET/CT equipment following manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) or Radiography (R) with CT certification
Valid California state license (CRT)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least 1 year of recent PET/CT technologist experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in PET/CT imaging protocols and safety standards
Strong IV insertion and contrast administration skills
Excellent patient care and communication abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
