Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a 28-bed PCU/MedSurg unit
Monitor and titrate drips including heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Administer chemotherapy and collaborate with oncology team
Perform hourly rounding and ensure patient safety
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed
Work closely with charge nurse, nursing assistants, PT/OT, case managers, and social workers

Qualifications

1 year of PCU/MedSurg experience required
Current RN license in Nebraska
BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy Certification required
EPIC experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome
Must pass open-book exam with 90% during orientation

Chemotherapy administration
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
IV therapy and drip titration
Patient and family education
