Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across the facility
• Manage and maintain ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1) as well as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen devices
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Perform patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and make independent clinical judgments
• Respond to codes and emergencies in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment

Qualifications

• Must have NICU experience - we need your specialized skills!
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Active North Dakota state license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians and the care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
• Proficiency in ventilator management (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1) and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP, BiPAP, V-60)
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience in Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, and surgical settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
