Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends; schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance with options for single facility or just-in-time assignments across Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area)

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple MS-Tele units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, telemetry, and manage heparin drips as needed
• Float to various specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and bariatrics
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Adapt quickly to different facility environments and unit cultures within Zone 1
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and heparin titration
• Comfortable caring for diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and more
• Strong adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
