Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions
Titrate drips including amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists and intensivists
Float to same level and lower acuity units as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with cardiovascular patient population
Valid driver's license (for radius verification)
Must comply with facility fingernail policy (no artificial nails)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating cardiac drips
Telemetry interpretation skills
Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannula
Strong critical thinking for intermediate care patients
