Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a progressive care unit
Monitor and manage patients on drips such as insulin, cardizem, and heparin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Perform hourly rounding and ensure patient satisfaction
Utilize Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps for safe medication administration

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, oncology, or med/surg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
First-time travelers welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Ability to titrate drips and manage chemotherapy infusions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to float and work in a mixed acuity unit
