Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Saturday, June 21, 2026, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Shift 1, 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
Support residents' mobility and comfort, ensuring a safe and clean environment
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through attentive, respectful care
Collaborate with the care team to uphold the highest standards of patient well-being

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Must bring a state or federal issued ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
COVID-19 vaccine (completed original or updated) or documented religious/medical exemption required
A compassionate heart and a passion for serving the elderly community

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and staff
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Basic knowledge of vital signs monitoring and infection control practices
