Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 08-10-2026

End Date: 11-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Tele/PCU setting
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage PCU-level care overflow and assist with various patient diagnoses including cardiac conditions, sepsis, and respiratory issues
Document patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in North Dakota (or compact license)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU experience preferred
Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips
Epic EMR experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Titration of intravenous cardiac medications
Patient care in Med/Tele/PCU settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Epic EMR
